Tayrona: National and Natural park

Six years ago, in the holidays of July, I visited Cartagena and Santa Marta with my parents,
so, I visited Tayrona Park. The Tayrona Park is the north of Bogota; It is located in
Magdalena, and it’s around 34 kilometers to the Center of Santa Marta. This trip was so
important for me because I have never been in a similar way with my parents, they was so
exciting and me too.

Tayrona Park is amazing and so famous because it has a lot of flora and fauna; there are
many species of mammals, birds and fishes. Also, you can find beautiful biches, waterfalls,
lakes and forest. Many tourist go there because there are remains of the Tayrona tribe,
who habited this place until XV or XVI century.

You can do many activities in this park, but sometimes you should be carreful. For example
you can swim in the sea, but you must always wear somethink similar to a shoes, because
in the sea there are sea urchins. If you live in a cold city, the wather cab be terribly
exhausting and diferent roads can be very rocky and slippery. But in general, there are
many activities to do and there isn’t really risks, activities like swimming, walking around
the Tayrona remanins, watching diferent animals in the sea and in the forest, etc.
