wide spectrum of subjects which beckons photographers from all over the world. If one is a photographer
who is passionate about travel and photography then it’s a ‘must visit’ region. One gets awestruck with
the uniqueness of this region from landscapes to culture.

not going to be on ordinary tours with us, we take your soul on Expeditions. We shall explain more about
it when we meet onboard Taurus which is not an ordinary tourism infrastructure, has hidden missions for
the good of the preservation of the cultural and natural heritage of the region which we want our next
generations to appreciate.

 Itinerary
Day 1: Today, your Journey Beyond Dreams is about to begin, when you board your flight
at Delhi airport for Leh which takes around an hour, a mesmerizing journey as you fly
over the gigantic mountains with wonderful views of the snow-capped peaks like
chocolate ice-cream cones with white cream poured over; the view leaves everyone in
awe. Arrive at Leh airport, landing through a valley of bare mountains, offering the most
beautiful views; ensure you get buckled in a window seat. Our representative shall receive
you at the airport and escort you to check-in onboard Taurus. Under medical advice
which is an SOP for the prevention of high altitude sickness, you must rest to acclimatize
for 24 hours. Taurus and its crew shall offer you a place in the best setting next to the
Indus River with the best air to breathe - a priceless experience  in the entire region. It’s
the best way to relax and acclimatise.

Enjoy the kitchen of Taurus, in the beautiful “setting of silence”; it treats you beyond the
expectations of nomadic life with basic comforts to make sure its 5 Star outdoor life.

Day 2: After morning tea and breakfast from the kitchen of Taurus, board a hired
transport to visit Leh palace, Stok Palace, Hall of Fame.  Night onboard Taurus.

Day 3: After breakfast onboard, Taurus sets bearing to Batalik sector, once the hotbed of
Kargil War.  You will enjoy quieter roads and fewer tourists on the way to Dah Hanu, all
along the river and small villages  of the Brokpas (Aryans), about 170 km northwest of Leh.
They have an Indo-European appearance in contrast to the predominant Tibeto-Mongol
inhabitants of most of Ladakh. The main attraction is the lifestyle of Brokpa community.
This community believes that they are the last race of Aryans and they have preserved
their racial purity. They offer sacrifices to the gods and are fond of music, wine, jewelry
and flowers. Their costumes are adorned with colourful flowers and jewelry. Camp in the
lap of nature with beautiful view of gigantic mountains and if circumstances allow we will
camp on the banks of a stream, we bet camping can’t be better than this. Night onboard
Taurus.

This region produces probably the best apricots; if you are lucky to witness the ripe ones
then you pluck and eat fresh! Isn’t that going to be an  experience? This is the area for a
bit longer duration to enjoy life to rejuvenate in real.

Day 4: After leisurely breakfast from the kitchen of Taurus, your transport will take you to
visit Dah village which has greenery and known for the Aryans. Walk around the village
and meet and greet the Aryans. Camp onboard Taurus at the same place of previous
night.

Day 5: After early breakfast, enjoy your drive with Taurus to Leh. Night in a guest house/
hotel, relax and for a different experience.

Day 6: After early breakfast, set out in a hired transport to Nubra Valley, on the way stop
at Khardungla to enjoy the highest motorable pass to click photos to capture the
memories. Night in a homestay/ guest house/ hotel.

Day 7: Visit Diskit Monastery and Hunder - referred to as the `desert in the Sky' the
mesmerizing village of Hunder is perched as an oasis surrounded by cold desert and
stark Himalayas in Nubra Valley in Ladakh. The village shot to fame after some of the
scenes of a song sequence of super hit Bollywood movie of Maniratnam's Dil Se featuring
Manisha Koirala and Shahrukh Khan was shot here. Drive back to Leh. Overnight in camp
onboard Taurus.

Day 8: After an early breakfast, drive in a hired transport to famous Pangong Lake for
overnight visit. It shot to fame after the famous film “3 Idiots”. Stay in a hired camp, as per
the facilities available.

Day 9: After breakfast, return journey to Thiksey. It’s a twelve story complex, located on
top of a hill in Thiksey Village. It is noted for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in
Lhasa. It offers a commanding panoramic view of a wonderful landscape, which is a
photographer’s delight. Camp onboard Taurus. 

Day 10: With a bag full of memories and cameras filled up to do story telling for years, you
wish not to check out as per your schedule for the flight. Your children will certainly would
be in a mood to revolt and settle to check out asking when are we coming back to see
Taurus, that’s what all children do.

1. Taurus offers ‘quality time’ to the families, to enhance bonding.
2. It will be an unforgettable experience for the children and will certainly give them
exposure to enhance their personality.
3. Its expensive to run this infrastructure under such tough conditions.
4. Our team is not drawing salary out of this project. Our mission is to make it
successful, as of now. Please support it! 
5. All other tours are with taxi drivers and the hotel staff, they can’t give you any
personal touch.  Capt Suresh Sharma will be accompanying you onboard Taurus.
7. We are the most hygienic camping in India as of now.
8. We use the best of raw material for cooking and dessi ghee(butter oil, where needed),
no one can match us for this. We maintain the best hygiene  while cooking, its
happening in front of your eyes. This won’t happen if you stay in hired camps and guest
houses/ hotels/ resorts.
9. It’s the comfort like your own home always with you on most of your stay.
10. Another big advantage of being with us is Taurus offers you immense flexibility and
freedom. Whereas on conventional tours you can’t alter unless you bear the loss or pay
for the cost.
11. You don’t have to go through the trouble of pack-unpack your baggage and the
hassle of check in checkout.
12. Your limited participation in camping chores will be appreciated (packing your
sleeping bags, dome tents, rinsing of your dishes to save water (washing is done by us)
13. And please, remember that its not a business as usual. A part of you will remain with
us as you have supported a Cause by your participation in our program. You gain a tag

14. More details will be sent once you have approved this program.
15. Travel with clothing suitable for winters.
16. Get a medical checkup done for such expedition.
17. Buy medical/ accident insurance with rescues and medical aid mentioned and air
ambulance.
18. Please go through all the related information on the website beforehand.
19. We will treat you like our extended family and friends, as long as you do, as you will
be very much part of the team to help us make this trip wonderful and deliver as per
your expectations. We alone can’t do it.
20. The money to be paid is not for the commercial activity, its your contribution for the
coordination of the logistics for your holidays.
21. If time and circumstances permit, we will offer croquet game
22. Liquor is BIG NO in high altitude. If you consume stealthily then you are responsible
for the consequences.  
23. If you have any special needs for children, please let us know now, beforehand. 
24. We don’t run any NGO, so we believe in raising funds through such activity for self-
sustainability.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
1. Pick up from the airport, drop at the airport at Leh, in a suitable transport locally hired
at Leh, as per the availability.  
2. Veg food/ egg preparations on board Taurus. Non veg food may be served in hired
stays, depends on the circumstances.
3. Taurus as transport for the limited excursions as per the itinerary
4. Stay onboard Taurus as per the accommodation shown in photos on our website,
sometimes it could be tents on ground.
5. Food is either prepared with fresh veggies or the best tinned veggies (when time and
availability is the constraint).
6. Hired transport for Nubra overnight trip. Excursion to Diskit Monastery and Hundar
(Nubra Valley)
7. Stay at Nubra Valley (as per the plan offered by the stay) and as per availability  
8. Hired transport for Pangong Lake and night stay in hired camp, as per availability.
9. Hot snacks (when possible, may not be possible everyday) onboard Taurus
10. Oxygen Cylinder (if you hire it locally these cost around Rs 3500 per day), its Made In
USA. No one will provide you this as part of the package of 10 days. Usage and safety
while on excursions will be your responsibility. 
11. Locally hired transport at Hanuthang/ Dah for day excursion, as per availability.

now; arranging on the spot will be either difficult or more expensive than usual. 
18. Adventure activities i.e. trekking, rafting, jumps, etc.
19. Modeling fee for photography, if any one demands
20. Anything which is not mentioned in the INCLUSIONS
