INTERVIEW REPORT

Name of Interviewer: Anthony Clemens Espiritu

Interviewer: We have question here regarding to our VMGO and Core Values. How it influence you as a
student before and now a teacher?

Interviewee: okay so good afternoon first if all and thank you for inviting me to have a short discussion
about the VMGO. Kasi ako basically I was the student of MinsCAT in the last 4 years and then after 2
months I’ve become one of the faculty na in this institution. So for me talaga, I was so moved by the
core values of minscat especially with my life as a person not just a student or a teacher, beacuase when
I first entered MinsCAT deep inside myself I know this going to be my home not just a school.

So first all we have, of couse the RICE. The Responsibility, Involvement, Commitment, and the
Excellence. So first is the responsibility, kasi para sakin, Responsibility does not just mean that you fulfill
a specific task assign to you. When we say responsibility it is a sense of accountability and acceptance of
the consequences of our words or actions, and everything that we do. So when were you are a
responsible person you have to be responsible with your actions. And next one is Involvement, is this
will be my 5th year here kung icocombine mo yung pag-aaral ko dun sa pagtuturo ko this will be my 5th
year in MBC. So I can sat that I am super involve person talaga to the point na I’m joining everything. So
parang bang lahat ng nangyayari sa minscat kailangang parte ako that the concept of involvement eh.
Kasi alam nyo, involvement begins with your willingness to learn. And next is commitment, this what i
love the most about thr core values, Commitment is dedication in its most challenging sense, kasi kagaya
ngayon tinuturo ko sa estudyante ko, what are the policies of MinsCAT and what it is essence, so yung
commitment kasi eh nasusukat mo yan kapag dumating yung challenges, in sometimes people commit
themselves to something because its easy, madali lang para sa kanila gawin yun, maalwan or may
reward, pero kapag commited ka even there are challenges that comes along the way you would still
give your 100% on that. And next the end part is the excellence, excellence id going on extra miles, thats
one step forward. Alam mo dun sa stay ko dito sa mbc, I notice that some of my constituent or other
people here have a diffirent defination of excellence, para kase sa ibang tao, excellence is always being
the best or being the no. 1, pero para sakin excellence is simply growth, paglayo. Kasi may mga instances
na iba iba talaga yung kakayahan ng mga tao, ng mga bata, ng mga kasamahan mo. And they do not
expect that everyone to be no. 1, so kailangan you are open minded enough to say that there should an
improvement, kasi sabi nga nila when you are a C student be an A. When you are a B student be an A.
And when you are a A student be an A. So the concept is always try to be the best of yourself and at the
end youll achieve excellence, for me thats all about the RICE.
