Recreational Aid 2017-2018
 Handled money daily
 Interacted with customers by being a friendly representation of the park
 Cashier for the on site gym, as well as the pool and concession stand.
 Answered phones and gave out helpful information.
 Helped manage YMCA groups of children six to twelve, planning activities and teaching
about nature, the park, and local history.
 Also worked one on one with children during summer camp times, planning and guiding
activities and crafts, as well as leading hikes.
 General maintenance around the grounds, cleaning, locking and unlocking the visitor
center, moving equipment, operating a floor cleaning machine, as well as taking down
and tying nets.

Duties included pruning plants, mixing fertilizer, operating plant watering mechanisms, moving
horticultural equipment, interacting with customers at plant sales, and general groundskeeping

 Worked with the elderly in a retirement home, planned parties for the children of
immigrants, was the head of the group to help the impoverished and coordinated
gatherings and sent emails to all members.

 Duties at the dry cleaners included tagging in clothing, serving customers, explaining the
dry cleaning process, socializing with customers, handling money.
 Directing others when asked, training new employees, moving heavy boxes, and working
in high temperatures.
