Setting A = π and ω = 1 and graphing over –τ/2 to τ/2 where τ =1 for n = 2, 5, 8 we can get the
following graphs

2. As we increase the number of terms involved in the data, the accuracy of it increases as
well but increasing it also makes it arrive to a point where the function is discontinuous.
This discrepancy in approximation is known as the Gibbs Phenomenon.
