Hello, my name is Guo, Yao Run – I don’t have an English name. My Chinese name is special to
me because my Grandma gave it to me before she passed away.

Where are you from?

I’m from Changchun, located in Jilin province in the North East of China. The city is quite big and
it is the capital of Jilin province. I like it because the air is clean and clear and it’s usually sunny.

Where do you live? Do you live by yourself or with your family?

I live in Changchun with my family – my Mother and Father.

Do you like living with your parents?

Yes because I feel free……………

What do your parents do?

My Mother is an Accountant and my Father is an Engineer, They both work for FAW - the car
company.

What did you study at University?

I studied Electronic and Information Engineering at …………………………University.

Why did you choose to study this?

I didn’t know much about it before I studied it but now I do and…………………….

Did you enjoy being at university? Tell me about your best/worst time at university?

Yes, because I made lots of friends and had a lot of fun. I also fell in love.

When did you graduate?

I graduated from university last year and (for the last year) I have been working as a computer
repairman for a small company in Beijing.
