INTRODUCTION
UTILIMASTER is pleased to present to you our Parts Manual for the Federal Express Walk-In
Series Delivery Van. It contains exploded-view drawings and parts lists, which should
significantly aid in ordering replacement parts. This manual covers only those assemblies
manufactured by, or installed by UTILIMASTER. Items such as chassis and drive train
components are covered by separate manufacturer supplied information. This information was
shipped with the van, and can be found in the cab storage area.
All information, specifications, and illustrations contained in this manual are based on the latest
product information available at the time of publication. UTILIMASTER reserves the right to
change specifications without notice.

HOW TO ORDER REPLACEMENT PARTS
This Parts Manual contains exploded-view drawings and parts lists for all standard factory parts.
The drawings illustrate the various parts and their location. The accompanying parts list identifies each part
with a part number and description.
The drawings have been numbered using a UTILIMASTER number. In some assemblies the same part number
will appear on several parts lists. This is to show similarity in some areas between different size units or
different chassis manufacturers.
This Parts Manual uses a part breakdown for each assembly. If a further breakdown is not indicated, then
individual parts from that assembly are not available.
To identify factory manufactured parts, use the following procedure:
1) Find, in this Manual, the proper assembly where the part desired can be found.
2) Locate the part on the drawing and cross reference that part to the parts list. This will
give specific information as to the part name and number. In some cases the part number
is omitted due to unit size variations. When ordering these parts indicate the part name
and vehicle serial number.

When ordering parts, always specify the vehicle serial number or vehicle asset number. On the Federal Express
Walk-In Series truck, this number may be found on the vehicle name tag found above the driver’s-side window.
Should this tag become unavailable, please specify make of the chassis, year, and serial number of chassis, and
body size information.
All parts are shipped freight collect unless otherwise specified.
To return parts for credit, call the Customer Service Department for prior authorization. All returns must be
shipped freight prepaid. A restocking fee will be charged to all returns.
Special order parts are not returnable.

Lock Cylinders & Keys
Important! Please make sure to record the key number stamped on the key for each truck. For
security reasons they are usually not stamped on the lock cylinder, and you must have this
number to obtain replacement keys.
1996 units were produced with 1 lock cylinder option. To maintain security control, it is best if
you contact the lock company directly for replacements. In case of unit damage, please reuse
the lock assemblies whenever possible.

TROUBLE CHECK
Red and green The system is not getting power.

ECHOVISION FINAL TEST
THE FINAL TEST REQUIRES A DRIVER IN THE VEHICLE AND “PEDESTRIAN” BEHIND THE
VEHICLE.
1) THE DRIVER WILL START THE VEHICLE, PUT THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE AND OBSERVE
THE START-UP AUDIBLE ALERT AND THE “READY” GREEN LIGHT. THE PEDESTRIAN
SHALL OBSERVE THE EXTERNAL AUDIBLE ALARM.
2) WITH THE SHIPPING BOX OR EQUIVALENT HELD PERPENDICULAR TO A SENSOR AXIS

(FIG. 1) THE PEDESTRIAN SHALL MOVE FROM THE MAXIMUM RANGE (APPROXIMATELY
10 FEET) TO THE MINIMUM RANGE (APPROXIMATELY 3 FEET) WHILE THE DRIVER
OBSERVES THE AUDIBLE WARNING WHICH WILL START AS A LOW PITCHED
INTERRUPTED SIGNAL THAT INCREASES

Bottom seal - seal is held in place by both an undercut design of
the panel and seal, and also fasteners placed thru the vinyl into
the panel.
1. Open door slightly and place clamp in track to prevent door
from opening further.
2. Grind off heads of fasteners.
3. Remove old seal.
4. Remove old fasteners
5. Install new seal, angle edge first and rotate it into position.
6. Secure with #8 flat head screws, preferably stainless.
