Cracks at edges may be filed or stop drill to prevent the crack from
lengthening
If the fin is inadvertently bent on cylinder head and no crack forms, the fin
should be left alone because it may break it if any attempt to straighten
The typical repair required to move the damage fin by using a die grinder and
rotary file. After removing the damage fin, finish file the sharp edges to a
smooth contour and must not exceed the limits established by manufacturer
