KEY QUESTIONS/TOPICS:

2) What is the scientific name of your animal? (genus & species)
3) Describe its habitat.
4) In what country or region of the ocean is the animal found?
5) What does it eat?
6) Who are its enemies?
7) What unique adaptations help this animal survive in its habitat?
8) How does this animal move from place to place? (What adaptations
does it have for movement?)
9) Does it migrate? Where does it travel?
10) Describe interesting behaviors or traits of this animal.

PROJECT CHOICES:
1. Traditional Written Report
Write a 5-paragraph report to answer the key questions
about your animal.
2. Newspaper Interview
Write an interview with your animal asking and answering
the key questions.
3. Song/Poem
Write a song or poem that answers all the key questions
about your animal.
4. Brochure
Make a brochure advertising your animal. Make sure it
answers all the key questions.
5. 3D Model
Make a 3d model of your animal and create a fact sheet to
display with it. This fact sheet should answer all the key
questions.
6. Impersonation
Dress up as your animal and describe yourself to the class by
answering all the key questions.
7. Poster
Create an informational poster answering all of the key questions
about your animal.
