Paragraph 1
Strategy/Approach: Quotation
In Shakespeare's Othello, Iago claims that he "who steals mypurse steals trash / . . . But he
that filches from me my good name /Robs me of that which not enriches him, / And makes
me poor indeed"(3.3.157-161). Today, identity theft is a new way that thieves steal both
the"purses" and the good names of innocent victims, and these thieves are enriching themselves at
the expense of their victims. Identity theft is a serious problem that claims millions of innocent
victims, and the government must implement better regulations to help put an end to this crime.

best period of life. However, from a certain viewpoint, youth is also one of the most difficult
periods in the life of an individual; the reason for this is the lack of experience, maximalist,
treatment from adults, their expectations, and so on. And certainly, one of the hardest periods in
youth is college. College is a perfect stress environment, as it usually incorporates multiple major
stress factors, and throws it at a student all at once. source : Oberholtzer, E. E. (n.d.). Youth

Bibliotherapy is a kind of therapy which is conducted by using books as a main tool for healing. It
is to help a child who is suffering from depressions and emotional sufferings to overcome their
problems. Bibliotherapy is also known as the practice of helping students to grow and develop
themselves through the help of books as a cure. (Cox, 2014) Reading books which are related to
the problems faced by the students gives them an opportunity to work through their grief and to
cope with a difficult situation faced by them. Bibliotherapy involves selecting reading materials
which are related to the student’s real-life situation. However, the practice of biblioterapy also
involves discussions. There are two types of bibliotherapy which are clinical bibliotherapy and
also developmental bibliotheraphy. Clinical bibliotherapy is used by professionals. (Cox, 2014) It
is mainly meant to deal with significant emotional or behavioral issues faced by the individuals.
Meanwhile, developmental bibliotherapy is used by the teachers, librarians and also parents. This
will help students to grow, develop and adapt themselves according to their real-life situation.
Children’s literature can help students to deal with everything from behavior problems to social
issues faced by them. Children’s emotions vary from time to time according to the change in the
lifestyle. They can be easily affected mentally and be drawn into a deep depression. (Jones, 2001)
Children face different kind of problems in their daily life. They face problems which can
emotionally abused them such as divorce of the parents, remarriage of the parents, adoption, death
in the family, moving to a new school or neighbourhood, bullying, special needs and also culture
differences. Children also face emotional depression even if they were brought up in the complete
and happy families. For example problems such as siblings rivalry, a new baby in the family,
cooperation and love in between family members, adoption in the family, blended family and also
extended family. Besides, children also face problems such as sexual assault and also sexual abuses
which leads them to mental depression. Apart from family environment, incidents which took
place at school and classroom environment also can leads to mental depression to children. (Jones,
2001) For example, the comparison which was made by teacher will eventually make a child low
self esteem and this will lead to depression. Another example is, when a child is being bullied at
school and being isolated by the classmates, the child will feel depressed. Besides, children also
will feel depressed and emotionally disturbed if they were isolated from a group of their mates.
For example, Sheena is isolated by her peers because she is not as efficient in education as the
others. Therefore, the other children avoided her and refused to let her mingle in their circle of
friends. Apart from this, children who were bullied at schools also face a serious emotional
depression. Even the bullies have undergone an
emotional state that leads them to bully others. As the conclusion, bibliotheraphy is one of the
efficient ways to overcome depression among children. Apart from teachers, parents also should
play a big role in handling bibliotheraphy method to their children. This will help the child to adapt
herself in the society and to overcome the low self esteem. By using bibliotherapy teachers can
assist a child to understand that besides them there are other people whom also faced the same
situation and same feelings. (X.J.Kennedy, 2005) Teachers can also help the child by giving
information about the challenges and hardship which has been faced by the characters in the story.
For example, if a teacher gets to know that one of her student is facing an emotional depression
due to the ill treats by her stepmother.
