FSP Network Manager including Service Manager

The Fiber Service Platform (FSP) is a family of innovative


products that provide comprehensive Optical+ Ethernet
networking solutions for access, metro core and regional
networks. ADVA Optical Networking is focused on the needs
of enterprise and service provider customers deploying data,
storage, voice and video applications.

Objective

A training course which explains in detail the Network Manager software and its relationship to other
hardware and software components with dedicated focus on the Service Manager software application.
Troubleshooting and configuration exercises are essential elements of the training to assure that the
attendants gain a comprehensive understanding of the software’s operation.

Pre-Requisites

The attendees should have basic knowledge about Networking, TCP/IP, SNMP and Fault Monitoring. Basic
Windows OS administration skills are required. At least basic knowledge of ADVA DWDM/Ethernet
platforms, their features and GMPLS Control Plane fundamentals are highly recommended.
