Huawei Phone Company.

Is it trustworthy?
By Johnny Stein

Huawei, a chinese telemarketing company, has been making headlines around the globe for their battle
with the United States of America. The glorious United States have ordered Huawei come to court for stealing
“trade secrets from US-based companies and conspired to
dodge US sanctions on Iran” (Mullen and Westcott). Huawei
who has denied such accusations is worried because it could
suffer the same horrible fate as another Chinese company
ZTE. What is ZTE? It was a chinese phone company that
plundered after the US stopped selling them crucial parts for
telephones because they could have been spies for China.
Another thing that Huawei had been accused of
stealing, are the plans to create their own “Tappy” Robot.
Tappy, a bot that was created by the american phone
company T-Mobile, can mimic human touches on a phone to
give data on how the phone is doing and it can find problems
in the phone. Huawei was also sent to court for “attempting to steal the design secrets of Tappy, to build its

device-testing robot” (Wamsley). After pestering T-mobile for eternity until they allowed Huawei to test their
own device before it was released globally, Huawei had the nerve to take and send “unauthorized photos of the
robot to Huawei China” even after they had signed a massive agreement about not sending and releasing
anything about the robot (Wamsley).
If you thought Huawei couldn't get in any more trouble, you were wrong, because Huawei also got in
trouble for trying to extend their horrible, communistic cellular
lines onto pure american soil. After the US brought Huawei to
court; again, Huawei refused to say that they were going to use
their communication lines to spy on the US for China. The US
being nervous because of a law placed by China, that allowed
China to use any company in their borders as their own, making
Huawei a great spying tool for China. Huawei has said that they
have not used their phones for spying on the US, but the US has
already “[shut] out [Huawei[ of American markets” to be cautious.
After all of the things that Huawei has done and what they
have been put up for, i'm glad that I have a apple Iphone instead
of a garbage Huawei phone.
