AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SUBSIDY IN FAVOR OF BRGY.

PASOLO, VATENZUEUI CITY IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO
MILLION PESOS (Php2,000,000.00) AND AUTHORIZTNG THE
CTTY MAYOR, HONORABLE REXTON T. GATCHALIAN FOR AND
IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF VALENZUELA, TO
ENTER INTO AND SIGN MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT AND
OTHER DOCUMENTS RELATED THERETO.

WHEREAS, Secrion 17 (b)(l)(vi) of the Local Government

Code
mandates barangays to provide infrastructure facilities
such as .rttiar.por"
hall and other government facilities within their respective jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, Brgy. pasolo, Valenzuela Ci ty received grant

a from the Ala
Buhay Party List to cover the expense related to
the construction of mul ti-
purpose hall and other governm ent facilities
in the said baran gay. However,
Brgy, Pasolo is in need of additional fundi ng for
the acquisition of
property to house the said facilities;

WHEREAS, the proposed facilities will benefit

the residents of B
Pasol o, Valenzuela City and nearby areas
and it wil I facilitate delivery of
varlous governmental services;

WHEREAS, the amount of Two Million pesos

sufficient to cover the purchase amount of a parcel [php2,000,000.00) is

the aforesaid facilities;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Valenzuela

is obliged to extend
financial assistance to Brgy. pasoro, varenzuela

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED, as it is hereby ORDAINED by the

and authorizing the city Mayor, Honorable RExLoN T. GATCHALIAN, for

Agreement and or other documents related thereto; p.ouided, that the grant
of subsidy shall be utilized solely for the acquisition of parcel of land within
Brgy. Pasolo, valenzuela city necessary for the construction of the
aforesaid
multi-purpose hall and other governmental facilities.

FURTHER, the Honorabre city Mayor is hereby authorized

to sign alr
documents required and n-ecessary to-imprement ihe aforesaid
grant of
subsidy, as well as to perform any and ail acts and deeds
neceisary or
incidental to carry out the purpose oithis Ordinance.
