ELCB TESTING AT FIELD
» For doing connection
put the ELCB & all out
going MCB’s “OFF”.
» Connect Phase wire to
“R” phase which is out
going from ELCB.
» Connect earth wire to
the earth bus bar.
» Put ELCB “ON”.
Cont…..
ELCB TESTING AT FIELD
» Put The MCB of ELCB
testing kit “ON”.
» Increase mA slowly till
ELCB gets tripped.
» Note down the tripping
value.
» Repeat above procedure
for each pole of the
ELCB.
