This test plan is for the NCS Content release of 2019-1. It is an end-to-end system test. It was run over the course of 3 iterations including oracle
upgrade 12c from 11g. Of the work done in 2019-1 nearly 80% was customer focused (closed a Deal and Sales force cases).
This release is for windows as well as Mac.
New features in 2019-1:
Common Page: Common Pages is page automation intended for saving work on pages which are similar or identical between products or channels.
 User can create Common page relationship in NCS Content workbench.

 User can edit Common Page child as normal pages.
 User can Update can be retrieved from Master multiple times without releasing the relationship
Ad Editorial Mixed Page: Layout gets Flow page status for “All Ad page”, “All Editorial page” and “Mixed Editorial and Ad page so we designed to
detect how much available space ads occupies and how much space is available for editorial stuff.
 Users can set the AdFlowPageType parameter in content product setting.

 Users can see if a layout is "All Editorial Page", "All Ad Page", "Mixed Ad and Editorial page" in layout report.
 Users can Auto-identify Editorial only Ad flow page type.
Flag and Block export : The system must check and verify that delivered content matches the parameters and geometry assigned for ads.
 User can able to enable preflight rule to disallow Ads that don't fit the ad box.
 User can see the status in NCS content workbench of preflight rule.
 User can view on the pages where the Ads don't fit the space.
 A bug must be priority 1 in order to be fixed. 100% of priority 1 bugs must be fixed before going to beta.
 All fixed bugs must have been re-tested before Customer beta test.
 A test set (feature test set) are suspended if a priority 1 or a priority 2 issue is found and blocking for two or more test cases in a test
set.
 Blockers in excess of 2 per critical/high risk area will suspend the overall testing of those areas until the blockers are addressed.
 Test of the effected test set is resumed when related (blocking) issue(s) have been fixed and retested.
This system test will be split into several iterations:

 Iteration 1: Focusing on Installer
 Iteration 2: Focusing on CS6 plug-ins(Mac & windows) , workbench and new 2019-1 features
 Iteration 3: Focusing on CC2017 plug-ins (Mac & windows), integration with lite editor and new 2019-1 features.
Bug fixing and the testing of those fixes will be performed in parallel.
Environments:
AWS #1 - Testing against database (Gatehouse copy), Page Processor, Workspaces (32-bit, 64-bit) and robots.
AWS #2 - Testing against CS6 and CC2017 (Mac & Windows), Workspaces (64-bit) in QA-lab against a copy of GHM3 (Gatehouse).
