• Client: Well, I have a headache, a runny nose and a
sore throat.”
• Assistant: “I´ve got just the thing for you. This is a
multi-symptom medicine. It will help you with all of
your symptoms.”
• Client: “Great, thanks. I´ll take it.”
• Assistant: “Ok, anything else?”
• Client: “Actually, yes. I´ve also got a pretty bad
cough. Have you got any lozenges?”
• Assistant: “Yes we do. We have them in lemon,
orange and mint flavors.”
• Client: “I´ll take the mint ones. Thanks, have a great
day!”
• Assistant: “No problem, I hope you get well soon!”
CONVERSATIONS

• Assistant: “Hello, may I help you with anything?”


• Client: “Yes, I want to try to make my own pizza
from scratch but I´m not sure where to start”
• Assistant: “”Well I can definitely help you out with
that. The main ingredients you need are the pizza
dough, tomato sauce and cheese. Would you like me
to help you find them?”
• Client: “No thanks, I know where they are. What
should I do for toppings?”
• Assistant: “Well, that really depends on what you
prefer. I usually put pepperoni on my pizzas.”
• Client: “Oh yes, I like pepperoni and mushroom
pizzas. Where is the pepperoni?”
• Assistant: “You can find pepperoni in our meat
market at the back of the store on the right hand
side.”
• Client: “Ok great. Thanks for all your help!”
• Assistant: “My pleasure, enjoy your pizza!”

B: - Sure thing! I know this area well. OK, go straight on and
turn left into Oak Street. The shop is on your right.
A: - Thanks very much.
B: - You´re welcome.

going and turn right at the junction. Then turn left at the bar.

A: - Awesome, thanks!
B: - Not at all.

doesn´t know the streets very well. You were born and raised here
and know the streets perfectly. Kevin has a busy day planned
tomorrow and needs your help. Please help him reach every place he
