Business Plan Year: 2019-20

Department of Political Science has been established in 1986. B. A. I, II courses are offered
to the students. Since the establishment of department strength of student is consistently
increasing. The growth of the department is increasing not only quantitatively but also
qualitatively due to curricular and co-curricular activities undertaken by the department. For
academic year 2019-20 department has prepared business plan as follows:

 Certificate Course in Human Rights Education: We have determined to introduce

Certificate Course in Human Rights Education. Duration of the course will be one
month. The course will be conducted for B.A.I and B.A.II students. The target group
will be 30 students.
 Department has planned to organize an intercollegiate Mock Parliament. In this
activity students of our college and other colleges in the vicinity will participate.
 Students will be guided for the preparation and presentation of research papers in
seminars and conferences. At least two research papers by students and one research
papers by faculty will be prepared.
 We will try to enrich departmental library and will also take efforts to increase the use
of e-resources.
 Celebration of Constitution Day.
