Learning Groups
Group List
The Learning Groups screen is one of the important parts of the INFOMAN System. It allows you
to keep track of students, manage the cost of the course for students, the weekly sessions and
other parameters needed to maintain the INFOMAN system functionality.
The group list contains all the groups that are relevant to you and a comprehensive filter is used
to filter the relevant groups that are of interest.
You can also choose the fields you would like to see with the field selector icon ( )
Pressing the New button at the bottom of the screen allows you to create a new learning group.
10
Helen Doron User Manual
You can choose who is the Group Direct Franchisee for this group (use the select button in
the Group Direct Franchisee Details section). This option is to choose who will receive the
royalties for this group.
Once a group has been saved, you will not be able to change the Group DF.
Weekly Sessions
Mandatory data – you have to specify at least one day that the group meets.
Course Dates
Start date and end date are mandatory fields.
These dates determine the period of the royalties payments.
The end date can be updated at any stage to lengthen or shorten the duration of the course.

Payment Types
The payment types define how the students pay for this course. The options are preset by your
MF, and include the following options, split into two main types – individual student
management and group management. In individual student management, the students are
managed through the Manage Students button that redirects you to the student management
page, while the group management is simply a declared number of students (the field is enabled
for certain types of groups only).
Group management payment methods should be chosen when the group lesson fee is not
dependent on the number of students in the group:
• Group Session
o This means the group pays for each session the group attends.
• Group Monthly fee
o Group monthly payment
• Group course fee
o Group course fee – payment is at the beginning of the course in full.
The recommended price is defined by your MF and is automatically retrieved when the
payment type is chosen. If no special Price Request is made, the recommended price will
become the Authorized price.
