Old Business:
● Bat Box Build ​Built two bat boxes. 6 people showed up. Makayla showed pictures. We
have a google calendar
● Emerald Ash Borer trap supply update ​we have them. Ope jk we need something to
attach oil to.
● Photos from the forestry ID hike! ​Twas cold, but people found it beneficial.

New Business:
● Invasive Species Presentation: Nick Cassel on Hemlock Wooly Adelgid and Emerald
Ash Borer, ​Friday, March 22 ​at​ 3pm. Crawford 302
● Population Genetics and Platypuses Presentation by Dr. Kolomyjec. ​Friday,
March 22 4pm. Library Learning Commons.
● New upcoming event! ​April 14​, time tbd. ​Bat box and birdhouse installation​.

Con Bio checked and visible to see all of our upcoming events as we add them!

● Management Class Update ​Bryant said some things. Getting trees and planting in the fall.
Want to get these trees on the restoration plan. They want to give us trees to plant and want laker
woods committee to plan where to put them.
Balsam firs? Conifers? White pines? Red pine? Yellow Birch Mid successional trees

Brady would like to remind us that coral is neat and also gives us ⅔ of the oxygen we breathe
motion passes 5:1:0
We would like a memo with the plan and receipts for the trees
● New Waste/Composting Committee ​passes 6:0 to table until Jake returns
● Conservation Topic: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Environmental Field ​Makayla
did this
