Materials: Cutting out:

• 0.7 m fabric (150 cm wide) • 2x front to fold

• Elastic, 1 cm wide • 2x back to fold
• 1 m satin ribbon • 2x skirt panel to fold
• Zip, 14 – 18 cm long • Straps: 4 straps 18 (19.5/20,5/22/23) cm x
• Interfacing 2.4cm (finished width 1.2cm). Cut out elastic 4
• Embroidery materials cm shorter in each case.
• Embroidery design

Printing out the pages:

Deactivate the function automatically adjusting the page to the
paper size or printing area. ‘Page Adjustment – None’ must be
switched on. Only in this way will the pages print out in the origi-
nal size, i.e. 100%.

To check the printout measure the test square.

After printing out the pages, cut along the lines of the right edge
and bottom edge of each page. Glue together page-by-page and
row-by-row.

Cut out pattern in your size.

Instructions

1. Embroider front section as it takes your fancy.

2. Sew straps and pull through elastic. Cut satin ribbon in 4 pieces. Pin everything as per the
markings to a front and back section. With right sides facing, stitch together top edges and
armhole edges. Trim corners, snip curves and turn pieces right side out.

3. Sew right side seam. Neaten seam allowances on right side seam and iron inwards. Baste
bottom edges together, using your sewing machine’s basting stitch or long stitch.

4. Close right side seam of skirt section completely, and left side seam up to the zip-opening
marking. Gather top edge to circumference of top sections. Sew on skirt section. Insert zip.
Hem skirt section. Topstitch all edges on top section.
