Crochet terms & abbreviations
The pattern is worked using US Crochet
Terms. Conversions to UK terms are shown
below in parentheses:
• ch – chain (UK=chain)
• mr – magic ring (UK=magic ring)
• sc – single crochet (UK=double crochet)
• dc – double crochet (UK= treble crochet)
• sl – slip stitch (UK=slip stitch)
• inc(sc) – increase in single crochet
(UK=increase in double crochet)
• inc(dc) – increase in double crochet
(UK=increase in treble crochet)
• dec(sc) – decrease in single crochet
(UK=decrease in double crochet)
• fo – fasten off (UK=fasten off)

About 9.5 in./24 cm. tall using DK weight
(light/3) yarn and a 3.0 mm. crochet hook.

Supplies
• DK weight yarn in colors:
o Light Green - 150 yards/137 meters
o Light Blue - 50 yards/45 meters
• 3.00 mm. crochet hook
• Two (10 mm.) safety eyes
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Stuffing material of your choice
Notes
• Crochet very tight so the toy keep its
shape and stuffing won’t show through the
stitches.
• You can make a bigger toy by using a
larger size of hook and thicker yarn (adjust
size of eyes too).
• The toy is worked from the bottom to the
top, starting with the legs and finishing with
the head.

PATTERN

Legs, body and head Leg 2:

Use light green yarn. Work in rounds without Work Leg 2 exactly as Leg 1, but do not

joining the rounds. Use a stitch marker so fasten off. Make 9 chains and join to Leg 1
