A research study on the level of awareness and acceptability of

the SSC Teacher Education Program (TEP) VMGO revealed that
the four groups of respondents composed of the students,
community and non teaching personnel were much aware of the vision, mission, goals of the
College and of the of the TEP while the faculty were very much aware of the goals of the
College.

As to acceptability of the VMGO, the faculty had higher level of acceptability of the College
mission while the non-teaching were highly acceptable of the goals. The students, community,
faculty and non-teaching were all much acceptable of the vision, mission and goals except the
non-teaching who were moderately acceptable of the vision of the College. The students,
community, faculty, and the non-teaching were all much aware of the VMGO of the Teacher
Education Programs. However, the community were moderately acceptable of the mission of the
TE mission. As to the level of awareness on TE Mission, Goals, and Objectives, the four groups of
respondents were found to be all much aware. Several comments and suggestions were given
by the respondents which can be the basis to improve the VMGOs of the College and of the
Teacher Education Program. The research was conducted by Dr. Esperanza F. Carranza,
