PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
● Established local “PIPS”, Players in Progress: a basketball program for boys and
girls grades K-6, which perform basketball skills at half-time of varsity basketball
games.

● Organized and conducted basketball camps for girls grades 1-9 during the summer
to allow athletes the opportunity for improvement of their basketball skills and to
develop the local basketball program.

AWARDS:
● Selected as West Texas Coach of the Year, 4 times, by the San Angelo Standard Times in
2005, 2006, 2007, & 2008.

● Selected by the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) as an All-Star Coach in 2008.
Two coaches are selected to coach the All-Star Teams at the summer basketball clinic.
● Selected by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) as an Honors Committee
Member. One coach from each region is appointed to select the All-State Basketball Team
and the All-Star Teams.

● Received a Navy Achievement Medal during Operation Desert Shield/Storm.

● Received 12 Letters of Commendation/Appreciation for performance throughout
