Keuka College Storm
2007 Women’s Soccer

LOSS OF ONLY ONE STARTER BRINGS

HIGH EXPECTAIONS FOR ’07
The Keuka College women's soccer program returns the most prolific scorer in
school history, its top defender, and four-year starting goalie as it looks to improve
on its 10-6 overall record from a season ago. The Storm made its mark in the North
Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC), going 9-2 and finishing third overall.

Second-year and returning NEAC Coach of the Year Jamie Burke welcomes back
senior Nicole Bondellio, who has already rewritten the Keuka College record book
in her first three seasons. Bondellio, an All-NEAC first team selection for the third
straight year, led Keuka with 13 goals and 7 assists for 33 points. Currently the
school's all-time assists leader with 31, Bondellio needs only 13 goals and 10 points to
become the school's leader in all three major categories.

Even with the continued offensive success of Bodellio, it was the Storm's defense that
helped them to 10 wins. Keuka's defense recorded nine shutouts, all coming against
NEAC opponents. Leading the defense is returning All-NEAC second team selection
Kerry Callahan. Callahan, a three-year All-NEAC pick,
was the leading defender that helped keep opponents
to a 1.06 goals scored average.

Assisting Callahan on defense is returning three-year

starting goalie Kristi Chamberlain. Chamberlain also
played a huge role in the Storm's nine shutouts by
ranking 41st nationally in save percentage (.867).
Chamberlain finished with 65 saves while allowing a
mere 10 goals.

Returning to help Bondellio on the offensive side of the

field is All-NEAC performers Brenna Leach and Shana
Jordan. Leach, a junior midfielder, finished second on
the team in goals (6), assists (4), and points (16). Jordan,
also a junior midfielder, finished fourth on the team in
points (11) while blasting 5 goals and dishing off an
assist.

Returning after stellar rookie seasons are forwards Alyssa Gumtow, third on the
team in scoring (5-2-12), and Jessica VanScoter (3-3-9). Junior Brooke Coffey also
returns on offense.

Juniors Trista Partridge (2-1-5) and Audrey Randall and sophomore Brandi DuVall
(0-1-1) return to the starting lineup on defense. Sophomores Rebecca Rozek and
Kayla Scouten also return to help keep opponents offenses at bay.
