1.0. Purpose

Team building activities are one of the fun way to create a good working relationship between
colleagues. Dividing into multiple group with leads on each group, it creates a stronger bond where
each team members will be keen to help each other when it is needed the most. Team building brings
people together by encouraging collaboration and teamwork. Fun activities that help people see each
other in a different light allow them to connect in a different setting. People on your team are asked to
think about the implications of these activities at their workplace.

2.0. Objective

One of the most powerful reasons for team building is to get results. Through a series of planned team
bonding events that are fun and motivational, teams build skills like communication, planning, problem-

6.0. Activities

1) Sack Run
Participant: every group member

The sack race or gunny sack race is a competitive game in which participants place both of their legs
inside a sack or pillow case that reaches their waist or neck and hop forward from a starting point toward
a finish line.

The Play: Each group should consist of 6-8 members and exact even members to stand on both end
of the track. 1st runner will be given time to enter the sack and be ready for the race. The distance of
the track will be between 10 to 20mtrs, at the end of the track 2 nd runner from the same to will waiting
for the 1st runner to arrive and sack to be given to the 2 nd runner to continue the race. First group to
complete the run by having all the team members finishing the run will be declared as winners.

Learning as a team: unity that brings determination to complete the given task in group

2) Tug of war
Participant: 6-8 person

Tug of war is a sport that directly puts two teams against each other in a test of strength: teams pull on
opposite ends of a rope, with the goal being to bring the rope a certain distance in one direction against
the force of the opposing team's pull.

The play : Depending on the groups , the event will be organized either in a form of group stages or
knockout stages. The game starts and a countdown timer will be set for 5mins.

Two teams of eight, whose total mass must not exceed a maximum weight as determined for the
class, align themselves at the end of a rope approximately 11 centimetres (4.3 in) in circumference.
The rope is marked with a "centre line" and two markings 4 metres (13 ft) either side of the centre line.
The teams start with the rope's centre line directly above a line marked on the ground, and once the
contest (the "pull") has commenced, attempt to pull the other team such that the marking on the rope
closest to their opponent crosses the centre line, or the opponents commit a foul (such as a team
member sitting or falling down).

Lowering ones elbow below the knee during a 'pull' - known as 'Locking' - is a foul, as is touching the
ground for extended periods of time. The rope must go under the arms; actions such as pulling the
rope over the shoulders may be considered a foul. These rules apply in highly organized competitions
such as the World Championships. However, in small or informal entertainment competitions, the
rules are often arbitrarily interpreted and followed.

A contest may feature a moat in a neutral zone, usually of mud or softened ground, which eliminates
players who cross the zone or fall into it.

3) Pond Water Rafting

This group activity is geared to bring out the creativity of the participants by building their own
raft using recycle items such as drums, plastic pipe sand string, to meet their goal
achievement as members of the team. These will support creativity, multi tasking, team work,
and supportive strategies within the organisation.

4) Treasure Hunt

A treasure hunt is one of many different types of games with one or more players who try to find
hidden objects or places by following a series of clues. Treasure hunt games may be an indoor or
outdoor activity.
