The class has an overall average of 67% with most of the students scoring 60 and below. Since the
average is low, the teacher will need to go back and practice more “we do” activities for students to get
a better understanding. Juan was the only student to score a perfect 100%, whereas Luke scored the
lowest grade at a 40%. There were three different question topics: addition, subtraction, and division.
Juan, of course, scored a 100% in all three topics, but Holly who has an average of 73% scored 100% in
the addition topic. Hannah received an 80% overall grade and she got 100% of the subtraction questions
correct. Division was noticeably the topic many students struggled with, but Cody did very well with a
score of 100%. Some students like Luke, Nathan, and Patrick may need some extra support since their
scores were very low. Luke will need help in all three topics, whereas Nathan will need a lot more
support in subtraction than the other two topics. Patrick will need help in subtraction and division
problems since he scored a 40% in both. Those who scored high in each category could be put as study
buddies for those who did not do as well.
