Mystery of Mount Everest

On 15th June 2010, Kay and her girlfriend, Belleza asked me to go to photos exhibition. In
that exhibition, there were some photos that interesting Belleza. And you know what? It’s Mount
Everest photos which is took by some climbers who could reached top of the mountain. Actually it
made me surprised because as long as I knew her, she is afraid of height and she doesn’t like
mountain.
After enjoyed the exhibition, we take her home. On the way to my home, Kay asked me,”
You know that I love Belleza so much, right? So I think I want to propose her immediately.” I
answered him,” Really? It’s really good news for me.” “But, I want to proposed her on the Mount
Everest.”Kay said. “Hah??!! Are you crazy?? Don’t you know that she is really afraid of height? Do
you want to kill her huh??!!” I said. “Hey calm down ! I just want to make it the sweetest thing in her
life.”Kay replied.” Okay it’s up to you Kay !”
Several days later, Kay send me a short message, in the message, he said,” Hey dude, now
I’m in the airport with Belleza. We want to go to Nepal and climb Mount Everest.” And I replied his
short message,” Hahh?!! So, Belleza want to climb that mountain?” He replied my short message
again,” Yes of course. “ “Have fun Kay and have a romantic moment :D” I replied.
After arrived at Nepal. He send me a message again ,”Dude, We’ve arrived in Nepal. Now
We will go to the foot of Mount Everest. We will check our preparation there and ask any advices for
climbing mountain with many climber that also want to climb” And then I replied,” Oh that’s great. I
suggest you to ask any advices with inhabitants who live around there too.” “OK. After we reach top
of the mountain and go down from the mountain safely, we will send our photos to you.” he said.
A weeks had passed , but Kay hadn’t sent me something. I felt so bad. And then I telephoned
Kay’s mom and she said that Kay didn’t asked his mom’s permission to go there. His mom was very
fret about her son. So she asked me to looked for him. And at that moment, I thought that he and
Belleza had been lost on that mountain. On the next day, I went to Nepal and looked for them. But
unfortunately I couldn’t find them. I just met an inhabitant who knew Kay. He said that he had
banned Kay when he wanted to climb that mountain, but Kay still climb that mountain.So, from then
on he lost on the mountain. That made me and his mom so sorrowful.
Several years later, on 15th June 2013, I got a short message. Actually, it surprises me,
because the short message is from Kay’s number!! And this is the content of that message.
“Hello dude. Do you remember me? I’m Kay your best friend who lost on mountain Everest. I
want you to tell my experience with other climber. Or I won’t die peacefully and I will always frighten
your mind. My experience maybe can help some climber when they want to climb a mountain.”
Actually I was little bit afraid to read the continuation of that message. But I thought again and I
decided to read it.
“On that evening, when I asked some advice from an inhabitant who live around there. He
said that I couldn’t go there but he didn’t give me any reason why I couldn’t climb it. He said that I
had to wait until the day after tomorrow. But because of my stubbornness ,I still decided to climb
with Belleza. Belleza didn’t know that I had been banned by that inhabitant. In the morning on the
next day, we started climbing. On 5000 feet, Belleza said that she saw a funny bunny. She who liked
bunny so much wanted to catch that bunny. I had banned her because I didn’t see that bunny and it
was definitely her hallucinations. Yet she still chased that bunny and after that she fell into a cliff
because the bunny also ran towards that cliff.” I was shocked at that moment and then read the
continuation.
“After that moment, I felt so frustrated. I couldn’t accept the reality. Despite the fact that
Belleza fell into the cliff,suddenly I desired to climb to the top of that mountain. I would dedicate it
for Belleza. And then, I climbed again and I could reach 8000 feet from 8888 feet.On that height, I
saw a very beautiful woman. She said that if you follow me, you can find Belleza. So, I followed her
because of my eagerness to meet Belleza. She invited me to her home, she said that I could find
Belleza there ,yet I couldn’t find Belleza.I just be her henchman. And now I can’t go back to your
world. Please convey my apology to y parents and to Belleza’s parents.” My tears fell when I read
that short message. I immediately forwarded that short message to Belleza’s parents and Kay’s
parents. And I had published Kay’s experience in my blog. Although, many people said that it’s
irrational, but it happened to my best friend. And for many climber, you must believe it !
