Clair Perry
1st Grade Teacher
Alhambra Elementary School 4510 N. 37th Ave
District Phoenix, Az 85019

Dear Mrs. Perry,

While searching online, I found that the Alhambra Elementary School
District was hiring for 1st Grade Teachers, and I am definitely interested in
meeting with you about filling the position. I have taken classes about Early
Childhood Education throughout high school and college. I believe that the
1234 W. Fake Avenue
in depth knowledge I have for ECE can help improve student’s lives. I will
Tempe, Az 85142
help the school achieve it’s goal of helping children succeed by always
being there for the children.
(123) 456-7890 After looking at the website, I noticed that one main goal the school has is
to hire teachers who are caring and dedicated. I believe that after many
years of dedicating my life to Early Childhood Education and learning
kalger1@asu.edu diversity between students, I would be very well for this job. For example, I
took a class my freshman year of college that explained what to do if I have
a classroom with different genders, economic classes, races, etc., and I
believe that my knowledge of this will help the children feel more
comfortable in the classroom. I want to help students feel good about
where they have come from.
Another thing that I noticed that is required to work here is a Fingerprint
Clearance Card. At the beginning of my freshman year of college, I had the
opportunity to get one on campus, so I did. This shows that I am on top of
getting all of the required equipment for the job. I remember once when I
had a meeting with my advisor, she asked me if I had the card yet, and I
said yes. She was ecstatic because she said I was the first person she met
with all month that had gotten my card. This shows that I get things done
way before the deadline is. I think that my organization can help my
classroom not be a mess.
Alhambra Elementary School District is an amazing company that will keep
expanding, and I would like to make an appointment to speak with you
about how I can make the classroom a better place. I will contact the
school in a few days, but if you have and comments, questions, or
concerns, please contact me at (623) 399-2729, or email me at
kalger1@asu.edu. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to
be in contact with you soon!

Sincerely,

Kaylee Alger
