What is love for us?
Love is the Leonardo Dicaprio, the Johnny Depp that would treat us like a princess
Love is the Anne Hathaway, the girl with that perfect body proportions that makes good kisses and
cuddles
Love is feeling kilig everytime we hold hands in the sidewalk
Love means screaming together while watching a thriller in the movie theatre
Love is the person who would make our fairy tales come true
Love is perfect, love is pure
Simply, love is finding that person whom we can call ours

Where can we find love?

Love is in every goodmorning message that we get from Babe
Love is in every backhug and a kiss in the forehead
Love is in every late-night sleep while talking to each other
Love is in every box of chocolate that we get from him
Love is in every extra rice that we share together
Love is found in the person we want to spend the rest of our life with.

Love is so magical.
But the thing is, I’m not sure if I’m loved because I’m still single
I don’t have a girlfriend or a boyfriend
I don’t have someone to kiss or hug or even share a meal with
How can I be happy, for no one loves me?
The person for me has not arrived yet.

But let me drop the plot twist

Love does not always arrive on time
Or come from the people we are expecting
And does not always come in the forms that we want to see.
Love is not always the Leonardos and Johnny Depps that we hope to meet
Sometimes, it is the guy beside you waiting for you to notice him
That would treat you like a princess
Sometimes love does not look like Anne Hathaway at all.
It could be the girl in glasses and chubby physique that makes good kisses and cuddles
Love is more than just kilig while holding hands in the sidewalk
Love means saying sorry first after every argument

Love does not fulfill our fairytale, but it makes our reality meaningful
Love means sharing happiness together but also sorrow
Love is not perfect, but love is worthit
Love does not take you to cloud nine but brings you closer to maturity

So where can we find love?

Love is in every breakfast prepared by Mom
Love is in every centavo earned by Dad in his job
Love is in the message we find in John Chapter 3 verse 16
Love is found on the cross where a man chose to die to save you from your sins
Love is when God chose to wake you up this morning when some people already can’t

Stop seeking for love, because love is already present in your life
You just have to pay attention to the small things
The effort of other people to see you smile

So the next time you will question if you are loved, think twice
Because you are beautiful
You are amazing
You are worthit
And lastly, you are loved…
