Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a highly talented and creative Construction Project
Engineer to be based out of our Morrisville, NC location; however, the
physical location of the project is in Kings Bay, GA.
Minimum Requirements
 Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related
field + 4 years of engineering or construction experience or demonstrated
equivalency of experience and/or education
Minimum Requirements Equivalencies:
 AA/AS (US) + 6 years of construction engineering experience or High
School Diploma/GED + 8 years of construction engineering experience
Additional Minimum Requirements:
 Computer/Software proficiency with Microsoft Office proficiency a minimum
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
 Proficient in English in both written and oral communication
 Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with
others a must
 Ability to read and interpret project specifications and drawings
Preferred Qualifications
 General engineering knowledge

 Previous experience working with government clients; for example USACE


and USAF
 Basic understanding of project accounting and spreadsheet management
 Primavera Scheduling software (P6) experience preferred
 Specialized courses in construction management a plus

Job Summary
 Lead construction supervision task teams.

 Ensure deliverables in accordance with quality and time constraints.


 Ensure complete permanent site records
 Ensure supervision team members undertake comprehensive day to day
field construction supervision, quality assurance, measurements, and admin
services
 Instruct and advise supervision team to maintain complete site records
 Provide contractors with survey data and reference for setting out works.
 Receive, assess and approve contractor's implementation work plans and
programs.
 Ensure rehabilitation works are executed according to all contract
provisions
Minimum Requirements
 At least 15 years of experience in Railway Civil and Related Field

 Experienced as a construction lead, supervising task for the teams to


ensure that deliverables within the time constraints and are in accordance
to quality and requirements.
 Experience in supervising several team members in undertaking
comprehensive day to day field construction supervision, quality assurance,
measurements, and admin services
 Experience in supervising teams to ensure that site records are completely
maintained.
 Experienced with survey data and reference for setting out works.
 Experience in receiving, assessing and approving contractor's
implementation work plans and programs.
