Responsibilities & Duties:

 Safety measurements to check all arrangements for safety

 To confirm the relevant NOC’s from the concerned authorities and all existing utilities
been physically identified on site
 Excavation has to be done verify the latest shop drawings before the start of work
 Joint survey existing ground level is taken before excavation
 All existing services been relocated/ diverted/ protected as necessary before starting the
road works
 Ensure that there is clear access and safe detour available for traffic
 Check and Ensure the all road crossings are done before road base laying
 Checking the road works per specification and shop Drawing
 The storage handling and lifting operation have been carried out conforming to the
manufactures recommendations
 Check the trench width and depth as approve drawing
 Geotextile is in place as per speciation, bedding material has been used and the pipes to be
used have been inspected.
 The pipes have been laid to correct line and level and all joints have been tested for leaks.
 Check the pipe line covered by granular surround or specified concrete surrounds
 Check to all branches, Tees have been plugged from both ends
 The test is being carried out Air test, Deflection test, CCTV, Water test
 Preparation for concrete works such as formwork has been installed properly and joints are
grout tight
 All reinforcement free from rust & deli tours, all imbedded items have included and
secured against displacement
 All setting out has been verified before pouring concrete ensures adequate equipment.

Responsibilities & Duties:

 Be familiar with project contract documents, detailed drawing, specification and health
and safety measure together with any associated standard
 Undertake all the site supervision and inspection when required or instructed by the
resident engineer (RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)
 Liaise and follow up the contractor. This is to ensure the contractor in managing its
resources, health and safety equipment needs on site.
 Prepare daily report to the RE and ARE. This includes works order, materials delivery
and daily inspection program
 Follow up the implement any site instruction made by RE and ARE

b. JBR (Jumeirah beach residence, road and infrastructure works)

Responsibilities & Duties:

 Apply and implement all quality control and quality assurance procedure on site.
 Prepare any site measurement and surveying checks needed by ARE and RE for pipes
alignments and Levels.
 Co-ordinates and co-operate with client project manager during their site inspection in the
presence of the RE and ARE.
 Monitor contractor QAQC activities and maintain the relevant records.
 Assist ARE and RE in the preparation of any correspondence in compliance with the contract
documents and site Requirements.
