MISSION

Wisdom Islamic School aspires to be a leading institution for providing


and nurturing students with quality education and authentic Islamic teachings
based on the Qur’an and Prophetic Tradition, upon the understanding of the
Righteous Predecessors (of Islam), as well as other relevant curricula
mandated by the higher education for a well-balanced life, development and
success.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

The following are the list of personnel who have responsibilities within the
accounting department with their corresponding job descriptions:

 President/CEO – responsible for overseeing the administration,


programs and strategic plan of the organization, and other key duties
include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach.
 Head Supervisor/COO – makes sure that the organization’s operations
are running smoothly and that they coincide with the company’s mission.
 Female Supervisor – oversees internal affairs in connection with the
female staff.
 Principal – administers and oversees the overall performance of an
organization, managing different departments and implementing
policies, rules and techniques given by the President/CEO of the
organization.
 Academic Coordinators – responsible for effective curriculum delivery,
the achievement of departmental goals, learning outcomes and the
meeting of targets and benchmarks.
 Science Lab Supervisor – responsible for overseeing the operation
and supervision of the science instructional laboratory.
 HE/TLE Lab Supervisor – takes responsibility for all aspects of the lab,
including but not limited to: instruments/equipment, users of the lab, and
supplies needed to ensure the lab runs smoothly.
 SHS Coordinator – will lead the SHS implementation in school.
 Islamic Coordinator – implement and teach Arabic/Islamic Studies.
 ICT Lab Supervisor – responsible for overseeing the daily coordination
and functioning of a computer lab and focuses more on the management
of the lab and less on the technical aspects of the lab.
 Librarian – Supervise and manage the school library/media center.
Provide services and resources that allow students to develop skills in
locating, evaluating, synthesizing, and using information to solve
problems.
 General Services – manages the daily operations of all aspects of
General Services, in the Business, Facilities, & Operations division,
including: facility maintenance and operations, on and off-site custodial,
security services; initiates and directs construction projects; directs
centralized purchasing, food service, warehouse, and school bus
transportation, along with all mail services.
 Registrar – responsible for logging and maintaining enrolled students’
academic records, and also oversees the enrolment process for new
students and gathering all required information.
 Clinic – is a health care facility within school intended to provide basic
health care for students and /or refer them to the specialist/primary
health center if required.
 Finance Clerk – responsible for the banking and custody of cash, and
for investments, insurance and other financial aspects.
 Cashier – responsible for the credit and collection functions in relation
to tuition fees and other receipts.
