Title: Five Little Ducks

Ages: 4-5 years old

Time: 15-17 min

Objective
Students will

- Able to engage in activity for enjoyment and self-expression including expressive movement and
music.

Materials
- Papers

- Glue

- Scissors

- Yellow and orange crayon

- Stickers

- Popsicle sticks

Introduction
Ask them if they like music and like to dance. Ask if “Five Little Ducks” sounds similar. Today we will sing
and dance “Five Little Ducks”.

Procedures:

1. Gather all the kids


2. Do introduction
3. Teach them the songs and let them sing with you.
4. After the song, show them the dance move.
5. Once they got it, play the song and dance together.
6. Once they are done with the song and dance, do it again.
7. After the second song, tell them to get their box (inside their box is crayons, small and big glue,
scissor, pencil, etc.)
8. Tell them what they will be making. (It will be a little duck.)
9. Tell them what they needed.
- Big glue
- Scissor
- Yellow and orange crayon
10. Give them each sheet of the duck.
11. Tell them to color the body yellow and beak orange.
12. Once they are done with coloring, make them cut it out.
13. Hand out popsicle sticks to each child.
14. Tell them how to glue them.
15. Let it dry.
16. Give stickers to kids that precipitated.

Standards:
Goal CD-12: Children engage in a variety of creative activities for enjoyment and self-
expression including play, visual arts, music, expressive movement, and drama.

Closure:
We will ask them if they enjoy the song, dance, and activity. Ask them what was their favorite parts.
