Title: All the Alphabet

Ages: 4-5

Time: 17min

Objective
Students will

- Able to identify the alphabet and images that goes with the letter. They will also understand the
order of the alphabet.

Materials
- Candy
- Cards (hard papers)
- Printer (printed pictures and letters)

Introduction
Since you guys have done all the alphabet, today activity will involve that. So, tell me what letters was
the easiest to learn and why?

Procedures:

1. Gather all the kids to an open area and made a circle.


2. Do introduction
3. Tell them the rule
4. Give each kid a letter
5. One by one, they will come to the center and place the alphabet letter in order.
6. Help will be provided.
7. Once they are done placing all the alphabet in order, I will give them an image which started
with the letter. Example: A – Apple
8. They will have to match the letters with the images. Help will be provided.
9. Once they are done, gather all the pieces of the alphabet and images. Put them away.
10. Tell the children to sit down and ask them if they enjoy or learn anything. Or was it easy?
11. Kids who participated will get two pieces of candy.

Standards:
Goal CLL-8: Through their explorations, play, and social interactions children develop knowledge of
letters and the alphabetic principle.

Closure:
I will ask them if they enjoy activity. What was easy and hard for them. Ask them what was their favorite
part.
