Medication Policy:

The following requirements must be met before administering medications.

 Written Authorization from the Health Care Provider


 Parent Written Authorization
 Medication in the original labeled container
 Proper care and storage of medication
 Documentation of medication administration

The purpose is to ensure safe and accurate administration of routine medications to


all children in school and child care.

Illness Policy

We value our clients’ health as well as the health of the staff, without healthy staff
we are unable to provide effective care.

You will need to keep your child at home, or make arrangements for the following
conditions:

  Fever over 38.3o C (101oF).


  Infected eyes or skin.
  Any type of contagious or communicable disease such as flu, measles,
mumps, rubella, or chicken pox.
  Immediately report to staff any contagious or communicable disease.
  Unexplained diarrhea or loose stool combined with nausea, vomiting or
abdominal cramps.
  A cold with fever, runny nose and eyes, a “croupy” cough or congested to
the point that he/she has heavy breathing.

If a child become sick at school or daycare, the parent or if parent is unable to


reach, the person authorized to pick up in case of emergency will be called and
pick up the child. The staff isolate the child from other children and make him/her
as comfortable as possible.

Please note: keep the child at home until she/he is well enough to attend.

Payment Policy

Fees are set at the beginning of each year.

- Fees must be paid weekly in advance


- There is a discount for families more than one child attends the
service.
- Fees are to be paid whether or not your child attends, except for
non-holidays or when daycare/preschool is close.

Deposit: Must be paid in advance for each child enrolled. The deposit is
equal to the amount of the weekly fee.

Late Payment Fee: $10.00 per day that payment is not received

No Payment: You will be liable for cost fees, late fees and any cost for loss
of wages if there is a small claims case.
