Report on Chill-out music festival 2018

The aims of this report are to:

1. Introduce the basic information
2. Look at the positive and negative aspects
3. Recommendations for next year
Introduction
The Chill-out music festival took a place at Milovice airport area, as it was considered well
located, which means there are no residential areas nearby but still perfect for train transport.
It has been said that it is unacceptable to hold this event on working days, so the date was set
to Friday 14th to Saturday 15th where is neither no holiday. This year a huge number of
different bands accepted the invitation and came to perform. The list of famous alternative
bands and singers allured tens of thousands of people all around. Over 25 000 ticket were
sold.
Positive and negative aspects
This event is held annually for 10 years, so many things were expected, like long ques in front
of entries. But what was not expected was the fact that the Tent village was full and there was
no more room for other tents and visitors. Must be said that all the mess like plastic cups and
so were all around the areal and it was not under control.
Recommendation
Next year it is necessary to focus on environment as well, so it has been decided that there
should not be any disposable plastic dishes and instead we will use paper and bamboo dishes.
The last but not the least point is to extend the Tent village, so everybody has enough room.
