System Analysis and Design

1. Introduction

 Present the overview of what the project is all about.


 If the system application is generic, do some research to be able to discuss current
strategic issues related to the chosen project.
 If the system application has specific user, discuss briefly the background of the
organization chosen and discuss why you decided to come up with that proposal.
 Regardless of the project type, discuss the role of system application in improving
the overall outcome of the project.

2. Statement of the Problem

 Describes a desired goal or ideal situation; explains how things should be.
 Outline the specified problem addressed by a study.
 Provide concise statement of the proposed project itself

3. Framework

 Create a model framework of the existing system of the organization.


 Create a model framework of the proposed project.

4. Scope and Limitations

 state the scope and boundaries of the proposed project/study.

5. Target Users

 Indicate your project users with their duties and responsibilities in the
organization.
6. Intended Use of the Project

 State the purpose of the project.


- Example: If the project intends to improve students’ learning experience,
discuss how it may achieve that goal. You may also cite some features of your
project that may help achieve the goal.

7. Methodology

 Discuss the activities/processes you performed in making the


Application/System software project.

8. Utilization

 Discuss how each tool is utilized in the project.


 Through the proper use of combined tools, state the best user experience your
project can offer

9. Project Features

 Show the navigation Map.


 Capture and present all relevant features of your project.
 Label all figures.
 Provide short description of the captured figure.
 Provide programming documentation (codes) of the captured figure.
Documentation Format and Guidelines

A. Format:

Around 400-600 words, typed, use 1.5 spacing. Absolute limit is 1,000 words. Check
your word counters in WP or MS Word. Please refer to following document formatting
standards:

a. Paper
 Size: 8.5 x 11 (A4)
 Orientation: Portrait
b. Spacing: 1.5 inches
c. Indention: 1 inch
d. Margins:
 Top: 1 inch
 Left: 1.5 inches
 Bottom: 1 inch
 Right: 1 inch
e. Font
 Sizes
- Heading: 12 (Bold), Align Left
- Body: 11
 Type: Times New Roman
 Color: Black (Automatic)

B. Document Submission:

- Both the hard and electronic copy of the documentation paper should also be
submitted on or before the final evaluation of the proposed project.
- Electronic copy (soft copy) should be submitted to my email address
mstbthgnj3@gmail.com.
