Winter 2019 Inn at Mountain Viw Farm, Darling Hill Rd., E. Burke, VT 802-626-9924

NEWS FROM THE NORTHEAST KINGDOM

Winter arrived early in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom with the first
snowfall before Thanksgiving! That means more time to enjoy all the
winter splendor. Our neighbors and friends at Burke had their
earliest opening ever, with dozens of trails and near perfect
conditions. With cross country skiing, snowshoeing right here on Inn
property, and fat biking at nearby Kingdom Trails, the Inn at
Mountain View Farm is in the middle of the action and the perfect
spot to enjoy winter activities.

FALL LEADS TO A BUSY WINTER FOR THE SANCTUARY

At the Inn at Mountain View Farm Sanctuary, manager Michelle spent a large amount of
time prepping the barns and stables for a cozy winter for our animal friends. There is still
plenty of work to be done each day and time for some of the animals to get out and enjoy the
freshly fallen snow. This fall pumpkins were the perfect treat! Local community members
donated their leftover pumpkins to give the animals some much needed nutrition and a
chewy snack! Please visit the Mountain View Farm Sanctury website to learn more about the
hard work that is done by dedicated staff and how you can help.
