4 stars - Very interesting also entertaining(action) and it

provides different knowledgeable facts, but can have a
better ending that connects the story.
Setting: It all started inside a crowded room, within a busy office building
feeling fearful.

Place: Taipei, Taiwan (sci-fi-ready, with its neon, bustling traffic, and a
skyline by what was recently the world's tallest building, Taipei 101)(Paris,
New York City, and Germany)
Summary of Movie:
Lucy(Scarlett Johansson) living in Taipei for her studies gains powers/abilities when a
drug is absorbed into her bloodstream. It happened when she was tricked into working for
a drug mule by her boyfriend. The dealer Mr. Jang(Choi Min-Sik) a Korean mob boss/drug
lord sends her and three others off to different locations. When arrived to her location, Lucy
then gets kicked in her abdomen causing the drug to spread. Due to this she then can
access extreme powers(Physical power, language translator, hear from far, and see the
system of living organisms). As a result, she starts a mission with help from Del Rio to stop
the drug from getting transported and help those who have the drug in them. While on the
journey she comes across Professor Samuel Norman who predicted every sequence of her
ability as her cerebral capacity increases. Lastly, helping each other out and recovering the
drug Lucy is used to experiment what would happen when reaching 100%. In the
professor's lab she is injected with the remaining bags of CPH4 and turns into a black
substance. One this happens, she travels back in time collecting information. She then
spreads onto the computers and electronic devices and turns into a device containing all
knowledge of the universe.

- In 2014, Lucy was the most successful French movie outside of France for the past twenty
years, with 463 million dollars. Lucy was more successful than Taken 2 (2012), The Fifth
Element (1997), and The Intouchables (2011).
- The human-looking ape seen in some scenes (Australopithecus afarensis), who represents the
"missing link" between apes and humans, nicknamed "Lucy" after John Lennon’s song "Lucy in
the Sky with Diamonds."

- Lucy lived 3.2 million years ago and is the earliest known hominid to walk upright like humans.
