SHRI DHANU DAS, 2ND OFFICER, CODE-2194
Dear Sir,
1. I have been with DCIL since 2001.
2. After so long time I worked as a 2nd officer (HT). I was promoted from the rank of 2nd Officer
(HT) to 2nd officer (FG) on 18 May 2017.
3. As per new agreement, promotion (2nd officer HT to 2nd officer FG) and increment, my basic
was settled to Rs. 21,220/pm w.e.f. 18-05-2018.
4. It is pertinent to mention that one extra basic was given to me during the time of increment
because during the time of Promotion basic was not protected from Home trade to FG wages.
5. In view of the above mentioned facts, my basic was calculated very wisely by Head Office,
which is neither less nor more.
6. In pay Fixation Page no -4, I am in serial no. 4 and one more officer in bottom line also
promoted from 2nd officer home trade to 2nd officer FG, in both cases our good company
considered and protected our basic pay during the time of increment. For this reason, the basic
pay was calculated as Rs. 21,220/-per month.
7. The mail dated27th March2019 from Jt.Manager (HR) stated that company by mistake given
the basic 21220/pm instead of 20595/pm from the month of October 2018 to December 2018.
8. For the above you are deducted Rs 24653 from the march19 payment. But it is not correct.
9. When basic as 21220/pm the total salary( oct.2018 to dec.2018) isRs378792.00 and When
basic as Rs.20595/pm the total salary (oct.2018 to dec.2018) is Rs 372924.00
10.Recovery should be Deducted Rs 5868.00 ( Rs 378792.00 - Rs 372924.00=Rs5868.00)
11. Instead of Rs 5868.00,company deducted Rs. 24653.00.
12. Therefore I am requesting sir, kindly refund my Hardened money Rs 18785.00 (
Rs.24653.00- Rs.5868.00=Rs.18785.00 )to my bank account.

Subject: ADJUSTMENT OF BASIC WAGES ON PROMOTION

Dear Sir,
