Third party inspection company requirement before start of inspection.

1. General arrangement GA drawing. Equipment Manuals.

2. Maintenance Log book , Summary of any maintenance problems & Maintenance check
list for last 2 years and reported overload events.
3. Any reported accident & manufacturing defect since the beginning.
4. Hour meter reading of all equipment’s –including twist lock readings.
5. Original design criteria, specifically the fatigue criteria (fatigue standard, design fatigue
lifted load, and load spectrum).
6. Design fatigue lifted load and design fatigue spectrum including number of cycles, as
soon as possible to determine crane “ages”.
7. Structural drawings including but not limited to crane general arrangement drawing,
structural control drawing, all structural drawings, and all reeving drawings.
8. Structural dimensions, plate thicknesses, and material properties (if adequate drawings
are unavailable)
9. Crane dead weights and center of gravity.
10. Spreader test panel & Loads to available immediately.
11. For CTP & slip ring inspection – Isolation required at substation.
12. Equipment’s to be cleaned before inspection to ascertain leakages .
13. Complete access to the all equipment’s – all movements to be possible.
14. Cranes – all equipment’s & testing equipment’s are available continuously with operator.
