Steve Jobs is an American businessman and inventor. He is best known as the co-founder
of Apple Inc. He is known as one of the first few people to explore personal computer
revolution. He is also famous for his influence in the computer and electronic fields.
Steve Jobs oversaw the development of iMac, iTunes, iPod, iPhone and iPad. These
gadgets are now widely used all around the world. He received a lot of awards and public
recognition for his contribution to the world of music and technology.
Sadly, in 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with cancer. He fought the illness for almost nine
years before he died. Most people were sad when he died because he was a visionary who
transformed the face of technology. People who use his products describe Jobs as the ‘Father of
the Digital Revolution’. His death was a great loss to the world.

Q 22 Read the story below and answer the questions that follow.
Baca cerita dibawah dan jawab soalan-soalan berikutnya.

Once upon a time there was a thief. He thought he was very cunning because he could
get away with his bad deeds for so long. He often thought to himself, ‘I’m smart so no one can
trick me’.
While walking along a country road, the thief noticed a boy. He was sitting near a well
and crying. The thief approached the boy and said, Excuse me little boy, why are you crying?”
Holding up a piece of rope, the little boy answered,” My silver bucket! My silver
bucket!”
“ I don’t understand. What silver bucket ?” said the thief.
“This rope was tied to my silver bucket. The knot came loose and my silver bucket fell
into the well when I tried to collect water,” said the boy between sobs.
The thief felt sorry for the boy but being a thief he immediately thought of stealing the
silver bucket.”He said, “Don’t worry little boy. I’ll help you get back your silver bucket.”
The thief removed his shoes, belt and took out his wallet and kept in his bag near the
well. Then, he jumped into the well to look for the silver bucket. When he could not find it, he
climbed out of the well. However, the boy was nowhere to be seen. Soon, the thief saw that all
his belongings were missing too.
