Schedule of the Visit:
Date Place
Village-Jadoh, Block-Bhoranj of District: Hamirpur and met the
members of 8 different SHGs formed under NRLM.
25.04.2019
Gram Panchyat-Paplah, Village-Paplah of block Bhoranj and met
the members of 9 self help groups formed under NRLM.
Gram Panchayat, Jahoo and attended the meeting of Village
Organization-Ekta. VO consisted of 8 shgs formed under NRLM.
All the 18 members of the VO were present in the meeting.
GP-Badehar, of development block Bhoranj attended Satya
26.04.2019 Narayan Village Organization meeting in the Panchayat Ghar-
Badehar and interact with the members of the 9 different SHGs.
GP-Luddhar Mahadev, Block Bhoranj interact with the members of
Jagreti village organization. 20 SHGs formed in the different wards
has the membership in the VO.
GP-Gagal, New Aajeevika SHG which produce Papaya and Ambla
27.04.2019 sweets. Met 40 members of different groups which produce
different items.

Quality of product is essential for the sustainability of the SHG among others.

Hurdles /barriers
As we observed in the field various hurdles to the quality of product have been
analyzed in the followings:

1. Absence of adequate Training


2. Selection of product does not have scientific criteria
3. Conflicts within the group exists
4. Individualism rather than collective approach
5. Unawareness towards market standard
6. Unawareness about the market competition

Possible Solution
1. Analyze the skill gap and provide specific training
2. Area specific and regionally differentiated strategy to achieve the desired
outcome of the mission
3. Continues support from HPSRLM for book keeping financial analysis and
marketing & branding of the product
4. Sensitization towards market standard and competition

Conclusion
To achieve the overall goal of NRLM, it is very important to highlight the various
implementation bottle necks, thus field visit has provided various insights to overcome
the same.
Various issues has been highlighted and possible solutions to those mentioned which
has the potential to achieve the desired outcome of NRLM
