SCHOOL BASED MANAGEMENT

As SBM Practitioner, how can I make difference to the lives of…….

Learners…

The school exists because of learners. They are the primary beneficiary

to whatever is introduced in the school. As SBM practitioner, learners will

benefit in terms of content of the teaching and learning process. Curriculum

will be contextualized to suit the need of the students as well as the

community. The training and learning they will be obtained from the school

will help them not only as students but also as well-rounded individual as

self-reliant. All funds devoted to skills and training development shall be

exclusively utilized on said purpose. The activation of student involvement

and creation of campus co-curricular organization will let them feel their

sense of involvement in the school development.

Teachers……

The symbiotic relationship of teaching and learning process is essential

in the school’s development. The improved human capital formation

attending to the need of teachers will redound to the benefit of the learning

process. As SBM practitioner, the teacher need’s analysis is an important

tools to identify the areas of improvement. Their self-assessment tool in the

existing RPMS is a great tool with greater autonomy to address such need

and capacitate them. The freedom to choose whatever ways to improve

these needs with its degree of priority shall benefit to the schools

development.
Community…..

As SBM practitioner, I ensure their involvement in the school’s

development. It is imperative that their contribution to the school will benefit

the teaching and learning process. The school programs require their

knowledge and commitment to maintain ties with the school personnel

especially the School Head to develop and strategize the implementation of

such programs.
