A LEVELS – FAREWELL SPEECH

Good morning!
It fills us with immense happiness as well as overwhelms us with deep sadness
that today has come, the day when we bid farewell to our school. 14 years ago,
we entered our school and embarked on a journey of learning, growing and
developing. Since then, the school has been our second home and we have built
timeless memories and also had our fair share of happy and the not-so-great
moments. It goes without a doubt, that the lessons and experiences that our
school has imparted upon us shape us into the human beings that we are today
and will be tomorrow.
So on behalf of our entire class, I would like to express my immense gratitude to
each and every teaching and non-teaching member of the school faculty who
has contributed in our journey in this school. From our dear principal, reverent
Father Arul, to our role model ma’am Simmy and to all our beloved teachers
who have been our mentors and educated us in both matters of knowledge as
well as principles of life. Integrity, honesty, love, affection, kindness, respect,
tolerance, discipline, these are few of the many essential values the school has
always nurtured within us.
Our school has always given us opportunities to grow and learn and then
supported and guided us through every step of the way. It has taught us the
importance of holistic development and of being all rounded individuals. It has
always protected and cared for us and given us a sense of community and
identity. It has allowed us to build unforgettable memories and beautiful
friendships that we will cherish forever. A school is never a mere structure made
out of bricks and stones; it is made from memories, success, failures,
knowledge, enlightment and a part of everyone’s childhood.
There’s one little thought nugget that I’d like to leave you all with today. Our
school is a place of endless opportunities and a fountain of knowledge. Grasp
these chances and experiences because they will help to lay the foundation of
who you are.
Once again I would like to thank all of my dear teachers, the school faculty and
my beloved friends for guiding and supporting us through our journey of
education in this school. We will forever cherish you and the skills you have
equipped us with to start new adventures that life has to offer.
