Тема уроку: «National Parks of Great Britain»

Практична мета: активізувати вивчені ЛО, тренувати учнів у їх вживанні;

продовжувати формувати навички говоріння, навчити учнів одержувати
основну інформацію з прочитаного тексту та відеоматеріалів.
Загальноосвітня мета: розширити уявлення учнів про Великобританію, її
історичними та краєзнавчими особливостями, ознайомити учнів з її
національними парками.
Розвиваюча мета: розвиток мовної пам’яті, логічного мислення,
інтелектуальних здібностей, мовної реакції, розвивати навички усного
мовлення.
Виховна мета: виховання в учнів самостійності, взаємоповаги, толерантного
ставлення один до одного, зацікавленості у вивченні іноземної мови,
активності, працьовитості і бережного ставлення до природи.
Засоби навчання: підручник та робочий зошит серії А.М.Несвіт «Англійська
мова. 9 клас», мультимедійний проектор, комп’ютер, презентація
«Національні парки», підбірка відеозаписів та малюнків країнознавчого
характеру, мапа Великобританії, заготовка на дошці тексту для перевірки
засвоєння лексичного матеріалу.
Схематичний план уроку
І етап – організація класу, привітання вчителя та учнів, виявлення відсутніх,
стисле окреслення плану роботи. (3 хв.)
ІІ етап – мовленнєва зарядка. (10 хв.)
Основна частина уроку:
ІІІ етап – перегляд презентації, робота з новим матеріалом (розвиток
навичок читання та аудіювання) (27 хв.)
Заключна частина уроку:
ІV етап – підсумки уроку, виставлення оцінок, їх мотивація та запис
домашнього завдання. (5 хв)
Хід уроку

І етап. Початок уроку (3 хв.)

Організація класу, привітання, виявлення відсутніх, повідомлення теми
та мети уроку. Ввідна бесіда.
T: Good morning, everyone! I’m very glad to see you. How are you getting on?
Ps: Good morning, teacher! We’re glad to see you too! We’re very well, thank you.
T: Sit down, please. Are you ready to work?
Ps: Yeees!
T: If yes, let’s start the ball rolling. But before we start, tell me, please, who is
absent today. (учні відповідають)
T: Well, boys and girls, today we will continue talking about National Parks. Do
you want to know more about the National Parks in the UK? I’ve got a good piece
of news for you – today you’ll be able to visit some of them by means of modern
technological devices and practice yours skills in reading, listening and speaking.
So, let’s begin our journey.

ІІ етап. Мовленнєва зарядка (10 хв.)

Активізація лексичних одиниць теми, що підводить клас до теми
уроку.
1) Прийом: бесіда вчителя з учнями.
T: During the previous lesson you’ve learnt the ways to spend your time
outdoors, somewhere close to nature. And now tell me, please, what activities we
can do in the National Park (be sure to include words from ex.6 on page.54). Have
you ever visited a National Park? If yes, share your experience, please. Учні
відповідають на запитання, підносячи руки.
 T: Well done!

2) Повторення ЛО з теми.
На дошці написані слова у дві колонки, завдання учнів – поєднати їх,
утворивши вивчені словосполучення. Потім учні створюють речення з
поданими фразами.
T: And now look at the blackboard. Your task is to match words on the left
with the words on the right to create collocations that are familiar to you. Please,
come to the blackboard to complete the task. Then some other pupils will have to
create sentences with these phrases.

III етап. Основна частина уроку (27 хв.)

T: You did a great job! So, we’ve brushed up on our knowledge. Let’s move
on. Would you like to observe all the beauty of National Parks of UK with your
own eyes? I’m pretty sure, those views will leave you breathless. Here they are –
our laptop will give us this chance.
Учні відповідають на запитання, потім вчитель вмикає презентацію
на комп’ютері про національні парки Великобританії.

Slide 1. T: Welcome! Look at the map of the UK on this slide. As you can
see, parks are numerous in the UK. Some are in Scotland, others are in Wales and
England. But wherever they are, you can find some familiar features of them all.
What in particular can you find in those National Parks?
Учні описують картинки на слайді, використовуючи вивчені ЛО.

Slide 2: Here is the list of National Parks in the UK, read them aloud and tell
me which park is the oldest. (така ж інформація подана у підручнику, впр.3
ст.52).
Учні читають інформацію про національні парки Великобританії,
відповідають на запитання вчителя.
 Slide 3. T: Now let’s get to know some facts about the National Parks in the
UK. Read one by one, please.
Учні зачитують факти ланцюжком, при потребі перекладають.
Вчитель здійснює контроль розуміння прочитаного, задає учням запитання:
1) What is the biggest park among National Parks in the UK? Which one
is the smallest?
2) What is the emblem of Yorkshire Dales? What is the typical landscape
one can see there?
3) How would you describe Loch Lomond and Trossachs in Scotland?
4) Which park is considered to be one of the best in the UK?

T: I hope, you’ve enjoyed reading these facts and watching these marvelous
pictures. But to feel the spirit of those places, one have to visit them by his/her
own, or I suggest one alternative – soak up their atmosphere with videos I’ve
prepared for you.

T: While you watch, please, think over the following questions:

1) What can you see and what activities can you do there?
Also be ready to express your opinion and tell us which park you’d like to

IV етап. Заключна частина уроку (5 хв.)

 повідомлення домашнього завдання
T: Your hometask is to read a text about the Snowdonia National Park – ex.
4 at page 52-43 and to complete the tasks to the text (ex. 5)
 підбиття підсумків уроку, виставлення оцінок
T: Unfortunately, our lesson is coming to an end. Did you like the places
we’ve visited today? What did you like most of all? Today we did a great job –
we’ve learned a lot about National Parks in the UK, watched videos and read facts
about them, also you’ve spoken a lot and used a great number of active vocabulary
– I’m proud of you, my diligent students. You were very active; the marks you
deserve are…
