Our Mission…
Disasters   In Utah  is to create awareness for the dangers of natural
disasters in Utah. As well as to prepare the people.

 
 
 
​Fires:
Fires  ● Fires are the most common natural disaster in
  Utah. There are about 1,000 fires across the state
every year.

    ● There are currently about 194 Fire Departments

  in Utah. The state is very protected. But that does
Floods  not mean that we have no part in preparing for a
  natural disaster.

  ​Be Prepared:
Landslides  ● Stock up on emergency supplies, such as food,
 
water, and first aid supplies.

  ● Create an evacuation plan that can be used in an

Earthquakes  emergency.
  ● Practice safety drills at home, school, or work.

  ● Make sure to watch the news for any possible

Avalanches  information on natural disasters.
  ● Save up money to have as an emergency fund.

Important Facts To Consider:​ The level of preparedness is very low.
