Berliner

an alternative
city-guide
hi! my name is K. and this is my guide through the fascinating places
of berlin. i was given this road by the real berliner and i want you to
enjoy it as much as i did. take a sole walk or go for it with a close
friend of yours and…

GET STARTED!

ü
ralsBrücke
first of all, take off the station
Schönleinstrasse and go straight
to the channel. then you go left to
Admiralbrücke (the bridge of admi-
rals). if it’s tuesday, there’s a pos-
sibility to find the turkish market
with all those quite friendly mer-
chants and fresh, chip products
Admi

(i’ve bought 5 stunning avocados

just for 1 euro!).
Continue your journey along a park to the Oranienplatz. by the way, you can have
a little break on a really cute swing next to the dwelling houses and right in front
of an ei road. You can eat tasty fruits just bought at the turkish market and find
yourself out slowly observing the flow of the true berliners lives. after seeing a few
trains going somewhere in their destinations you could continue your own tiny trip.
Gallery
Kunstraum
Bethanien
if you are a fan of modern
art, visiting Gallery Kun-
straum Bethanien is a must.
it’s not that well-known as
all of the places on the mu-
seum island, but it’s highly
beloved by locals.
Markhalle 9

Mark
We are not done with food places today! Besides, you may take
alle

an advantage of visiting Markhalle 9. That’s kind of indoor

market with international food vendors and shops, plus there
are some occasional community events. You’ll definitely enjoy
the whole atmosphere.
kh
after all, you must find yourself quite lost. try to figure
out a way to the Oberbaumbrücke and East side gallery.
for obsessed with books people (me!)
Berlin offers an amazing place to hang
out. Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus
exists exactly for us.
Take a train and go
to the Rosenthal-
er Platz station,
then walk along
Kastanienallee to
Eberswaldestr and
Helmholtzplatz.
That’s a beauti-
ful place to have
a chit-chat with
your friend and
some rest. Drink a
cup of coffee and
enjoy.
Museu
If you are not exhausted till
that time and it’s at least 5 pm,
there’s a nice opportunity to dis-
cover Museum für Fotografie.
The ticket fare is 10 euros, like
to most of the museums in Ber-
lin. Find a place with internet
and save a road in Google maps
to Jebensstrasse 2.
For those who never go fed
up with galleries, there is C/O
Berlin. Located in American
House Berlin, this gallery
provides different exhibitions
full of different kinds of pho-
tography and other visual
arts.
Kurfürstendamm is so-called the Champs-Élysées of
Berlin. There are lots of shops, showrooms of talented
brand designers, nice houses, hotels and an atmosphere
of eternal holidays.
