My five year plan

My FIve year plan after high school is to go to Merced college to become a

welder or a auto mechanic. Those are the things that interest me alot. I would like to

become a welder more because i want something that would keep me with a steady job.

I became interested in becoming a welder this year actually because i signed up for a

welding class and i ready got to like welding and to be in my first year of welding i got to

really like it and got pretty good at it. So when i graduate from Merced high i am going to

attend merced college for a while get the hang of welding more and hopefully get a job

as a welder. If not i would become a auto mechanic, I've been fixing/working on cars

since i was little i learned from my dad. Being a welder or a mechanic would be good for

me because those are the things i want to do as my profession after high school.

I would like to work and go to school still because i like staying busy throughout

my days, i like getting distracted with the things i'm doing and not worry about of things.

I could work with my cousin or with uncles while im in school. But my parents do not

want me to work while im in school because they think i wont get my stuff done in

school because i'll be busy working and i would stop trying in school because i'm getting

paid. That's what my parents think, i mean they do have a point because that happened

before. I started working and my grades started going down so i had to stop working

and start focusing on my school work and my education.

Hopefully i could move out of Merced because i wouldn't like to live here when i

have a family. I would like to move to Sacramento or to Phoenix Arizona. They reason
why i would want to move to those places because their is where the most jobs for what

i want to do as my career. Also i would want to move their because my uncles can help

me get jobs in Sacramento to become a welder. And in Arizona my cousin can help me

get a job as a mechanic their because he is also a mechanic. Those are my reasons

why i would want to move from Merced to those places because it’s for my own good in

my future.

The careers i want are good careers because they are good working jobs that

pay really good and they dont take long to finish in college it's like a 2 year things to

finish . I would be able to support my future family because i will be getting paid very

well to a point that we won't be struggling. I came from a family that struggled a lot when

i was younger, we would barely have enough to eat sometimes. That's why i said when i

was older i want to have a job that pays me well so my family won't struggle like i did

when i was younger. I like to set goals for myself because i like aiming for the things

that i want to get finish and when i finish those goals i set new ones so i can accomplish

those. Plus it also inspires me to get those goals of mine finish because it makes you

feel like you can do anything you want if you try and force yourself to get those goals

done and set new ones every time.
