strategy is a functional strategy developed by the communication function itself it is derived by

programs and campaigns are developed its fulfils one of the strategic roles of communication as it
contribute to the success of the overall organisation communication of strategic is the
communication that occurs in order to ensure that people in the organisation are aware of the

strategy can be seen as the dissemination of existing strategy but also as the process occurs during

relationship with other units or the external environmental while an open system is responsive to
environmental change and continual adjustment occur in order to maintain balance and survive the
units involved are affected by and affect each other

compatibility with organisational goals change functions help organisation adapt what they do and

 Formal networks are networks that are prescribed by the organisation and function through
rules regulations and procedures while informal networks refer to the exchange of unofficial
or informal information external networks are those that carry information from within to
outside the organisation or vice versa while internal networks carry information within the
organisation along interdepartmental channels that is all types of internal communication
used for the functioning of organisation upwards networks are used by employees to
provide feedback on policies and practices to manage while downward networks are used
by managers to communicate with employees

 Isolated :they are usually outside the interaction occurring in networks
